Delivery Driver / Warehouse Worker

Overview

Seeking an experienced delivery driver/warehouse worker to join our team! You will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering to businesses and customers, ensuring timely service while adhering to all safety regulations.

Duties

• Load, secure, and unload with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo safety.
• Deliver accurately to designated locations, managing delivery documentation and obtaining signatures as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and van to maintain vehicle safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during deliveries.
• Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo handling activities, receipts and compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in delivery driving or commercial truck driving.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and handle manual loading/unloading tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for logistics cargo handling.
• Strong physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as load & unload operations.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, route driving efficiency, and customer service excellence.
• Ability to adhere to all safety protocols related to hazardous materials when applicable.
