DESCRIPTION:Advanced registration: Members $45\,  Future Members $55\n\n\n\n \n\nThis event is open for both women and men.\n\nVendor tables available: Members $85\, Future Members $95\n\n \n\n\n\n    Nicole Pulliam\, Ph.D. is the Founder & CEO of Real & Worthy\, LLC\, a boutique firm that supports first-generation women trailblazers and Women of Color who often struggle with the\n\nimpostor syndrome in the workplace and personal lives. Through her company\, Nicole offers\n\ncoaching services\, training\, and short-term consultancy services. Dr. Nicole Pulliam is a certified\n\nprofessional coach\, with a specialization in executive and career coaching rooted in justice\,\n\nequity\, diversity\, and inclusion (JEDI) principles\, Nicole has an expansive background in higher\n\neducation for over 20 years in academic leadership and as a tenured faculty member. She is a\n\nsought-after speaker\, trainer\, facilitator\, and strategist on the topics of leadership and diversity\,\n\nequity\, inclusion\, & belonging (DEI&B). Nicole is well-published and has presented her\n\nresearch\, workshops\, and training sessions at the international\, national\, and regional levels.\n\nBorn in Passaic\, NJ to a working-class family\, her identities as a Woman of Color and first-\n\ngeneration college graduate are at the core of her values\, mission\, and principles. Dr. Pulliam is\n\non a mission to disrupt and dismantle the stifling impostor syndrome narrative one woman at a\n\ntime. From a young age\, Nicole has set out to blaze new trails and never settle for less\, and she is\n\non a mission to help other Women do the same.\n\n\n\n    At the heart of her company\, Real & Worthy\, LLC is the belief that all women innately possess\n\nthe power and internal resources needed to reach their highest potential and that all women are\n\nWORTHY of unconditional joy\, love\, peace\, and praise. Who she is and what she does are\n\ndeeply aligned with how she serves and who she is called to serve. She is an educator\,\n\nresearcher-scholar\, entrepreneur\, mother\, wife\, mentor\, friend\, daughter\, sister\, and champion of\n\nBIPOC and first-generation trailblazers.\n\n\n\n    Nicole draws upon her counseling\, multicultural competence\, and social justice training\n\nbackground to honor clients' unique needs and lived experiences at the intersections of their\n\nmultiple identities. As a Black Indigenous Person of Color (BIPOC) woman and first-generation\n\ncollege graduate\, Nicole is most passionate about supporting clients from similar backgrounds\,\n\nwho often feel like impostors in the workplace\, especially. As a mother of two\, Nicole is\n\ncommitted to helping Women\, especially those who identify as Women of Color and first-\n\ngeneration trailblazing professionals navigate the complexities of life while preserving their\n\noverall wellness.\n\n\n\n    Nicole encourages her clients to say YES to things that matter most in their lives while boldly\n\nsaying NO to anything that is out of alignment with their goals and values. Nicole's coaching\n\nmission is to help her clients thrive in the academy\, and not merely survive.\n\nShe has served as a graduate-level professor\, researcher (PI and Co-PI)\,\n\ndepartment chair\, program director\, and has supervised doctoral student research and\n\ndissertations. Most notably\, Nicole was named the inaugural director of a large initiative\,\n\nmanaging a $2-million grant to foster educational equity and anti-racist practices in K-12 settings\n\nwhile maintaining community and university-wide partnerships and supervising grant-funded\n\npersonnel. Nicole co-founded a new first-generation faculty initiative at her institution through\n\ngrant funds\, where she has worked to foster a celebratory community amongst first-generation\n\nfaculty and students.
