SUMMARY:Pitch Your Charity for "Caring with Karaoke"
DESCRIPTION:The Young Professionals Group (YPG) of the Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) is excited to announce their Annual "Caring With Karaoke" event will return this year and applications are now being accepted from non-profits who wish to be this year's beneficiary.\n\n\n\nEach year the YPG selects a Monmouth County Area non-profit organization that will receive proceeds from the event and raise funds towards their mission.\n\n\n\nFor a non-profit organization to be considered please fill out the Pitch Your Charity Application or contact the event chair\, Kevin Fenstermacher\, at kfenstermacher@blueclaws.com to have the application sent to you and to answer any questions about the application process. The application process runs through September 30\, 2014 with the non-profit partner chosen shortly after.\n\n\n\nCaring With Karaoke\, held annually in late February or early March\, is a Karaoke Contest Fundraising Event which raises money through event sponsorships\, tricky tray donations\, & event contests. With the support of the Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce and the local community\, CWK has been able to help many families in need throughout Monmouth County with its yearly partnership with a local non-profit organization.\n\n\n\nLast year\, Caring With Karaoke helped the United Way of Monmouth County challenge the "summer slide" which occurs to underprivileged without necessary summer reading materials and programs. These programs are designed to close the learning gap\, which can occur over the summer months by providing materials and programs for children to participate in.\n\n\n\nOver the past three years\, Caring With Karaoke has raised over $30\,000 towards its beneficiaries.
